2013 saw a number of improvements to the facilities at Cloverley. Early in the year we gave the Coach House conference room a lick of paint, before starting major work refurbishing what used to be the Games Room. The games equipment all moved to a different room to allow us the opportunity to completely overhaul the look of the room. This is now the “Stables Conference Room”, seating up to 60 people with audio-visual equipment (data projector, screen, sound system).
Out in the grounds we set to work in the rosegarden to remove a large area of weeds and wasted space and convert it to a seating area for guests to enjoy the sunshine. At the front of the building we made some planters, dug over the borders and laid out some benches. Many thanks go to our volunteers who came in the summer to help do a lot of this work!
